Razer, one of the manufacturers of professional gaming hardware, was seen distributing malware on its support website. The drivers downloaded from the support site were found infected with malware. According to analysts, some hackers hacked into their server and modified the driver packages to contain malware.

Status : Razer had taken down their support web site for 24 hours. Now the site is restored.

All users who downloaded drivers, firmware etc from their support web site from 19th September to 22nd September should scan their computer with an updated antivirus software.
