Hi There,

I have Gateway P-7811FX running on Win Vista, and I plan to upgrade it to Win7. According to Windows Compatibility Test for Win7, my laptop is fully ready for the upgrade. However, I'm still worried about upgrading my laptop. Do I need a special installation disk for this case (i.e. such thing like Gateway Version of Win7 or something like that)? Or can I just upgrade it using the regular Installation Disk (the one that I can buy from retail store)?

I really appreciate for the answer

I upgraded both of my laptops. THe only problem I has was with one of them where I had to go to the HP site and downlaod the correct sound-driver for my model. The other laptop upgraded flawlessly.
