i was infected with sofatnet Trojan but i managed to get rid of it after grueling 5days of attempting to kill that Trojan. i wasn’t able to complete the instructions that i read on here on how to remove the Trojan because my computer kept shutting down on me. So on my last attempt I just went ahead and reinstall windows and this time my laptop stayed on so i was able to get rid of the Trojan that way. And once it was reinstalled i went ahead and deleted the old windows that was automatically saved, incase the virus was lurking in there and also ran spy ware doctor and 2 other malware remover and it came up clean. But i still have one problem and that is that my computer keeps shutting down. And im guessing it has something to do with the processor overheating, maybe? Can it be that the heatsink compound might be a bit old or maybe even the battery? Cus even when it’s plugged my battery doesn’t charge, im guessing I have to get a new battery and that may just fix my power outage problem?Moved to more appropriate forum
