Fujitsu Lifebook N series running XP pro sp2. This is a work computer. When I acquired it the display on screen was too small. If I turn up the resolution the screen gets so large that I have to use the mouse to move around and view the whole desktop. I uninstalled the display adapter driver using device manager, restarted and the screen is full size again but when I increased the resolution it went back to the small display size. I uninstalled the device driver again and now its telling me that "the display control panel is not able to change the display settings. You may not have appropriate administrative rights to change these settings" and "the display settings being saved are invalid. Please try a different combination of display settings." I noticed I have ATI catalyst control center installed. Im not sure what that is. Display adapter is ATI mobility radeon x1400. Any help would be much appreciated.
