Hey, everybody! First time poster, hoping you can help.

I got a Fake Alert virus (FakeAlert-CK.dll), which immediately turned my desktop gray (no picture), created a little alert bubble on the bottom right of the screen that said that I had a virus and by clicking on it, I would be able to download software to get rid of it (I didn't click it, though). I also got pop-up windows (not internet pop ups, but Windows pop ups) saying that it "could not find Logon.exe," and "C:\windows\system32\winhelper.dll not a valid windows image."

Additionally, since I got the virus, I have not been able to connect to the internet. Firefox displays my homepage's address, but the tab reads (Untitled) and the screen is white.

It says, however, that I am connected to my wireless.

I scanned my computer using McAfee, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, and Spybot Search and Destroy, and was able to remove most of it, I believe, but the internet still doesn't work, and I'm still getting the "could not find Logon.exe" popup.

Any suggestions? Please let me know if you need any other information.

Thank you.

Go to Posted Image > Run..., then copy and paste this command into the open box: cmd
Click OK.
At the command prompt C:\>, copy and paste the following command and press Enter:

DIR /a/s %windir%\scecli.dll %windir%\netlogon.dll %windir%\eventlog.dll >Log.txt & START notepad Log.txt

A file called log.txt should be created on your Desktop.
Open that file and copy/paste the contents in your next reply.
