windows update big problem

something is preventing windows from updating automatically.

here is the interesting part i tried to update silverlight it installs but then it gets to the screen about enable automatic update and you are suppose to click next after that i click next and it freezes.

i uninstall and reintall and same thing i did a start run and typed in:

reg delete HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Silverlight /f

still no go.


any suggestions????
