if i dont upgrade itunes can it affect my secuirty

do i have to upgrade programs like itunes, quicktime player, revo unistaller and programs of that sort. if i dont will they affect the secuirity of pc

It shouldn't. At least I wouldn't think so.

It may stop you from using an iPod properly, playing certain files, or running certain content. But the security of your computer shouldn't be compromised.
