So far I know that I am infected with AntiVirus Pro 2010, Advanced Virus Remover and Windows Police Pro. I have tried the recommended steps that you guys have pages on for each of these items - unfortunately nothing wants to open. Malware Bytes wont install. I have already downloaded and used Fixtm.reg and downloaded and used FixExe.reg and I still cannot get any programs to earse any of these things to work. Lastly I am on another computer and have downloaded all programs to this working computer and burn them to a cd andcopy them to infected computer. I so far have on there combofix, Hjthis, Adaware AE (lavasoft), Spyware S&D, mbam-setup, RootRepeal and DDS but as staed i cannot get any of them to work. If I can just get mba-setup to run, it would help alot. Please Help

Hello and welcome to Bleeping Computer.

To subscribe, go to your topic, and at the top right hand corner by your first post, click the Options button and then click Track this topic. The bullet the immediate notification bubble. Then press submit.

Please try rename the Malwarebytes installation file to Winlogon.exe instead of the default mbam-setup.exe. Then try to install the program.
