Hello all...

I am running Windows XP these issues are appearing in both Firefox and IE8

A week ago I started having issues with loading my common websites...Yahoo, Facebook, ebay...etc.

They would run and run and never load, or if they did load it was full of broken image links or just plain wrong (page not displayed correctly)

I took the following steps...

Ran Search and Destroy - found infected files - removed them

Rand Malwarebytes - found more files - removed them

Ran a ListDLL's looking for files with no version in the system/32 files....didn't find any.

Checked the firewall...not running

Disabled all security

Rebboted the modem, computer and router

Re-ran all scans, still clean

And still FB, yahoo, ebay, allrecipies.com all want to hang and not load.

Please help....I really am a beginner with this stuff and I only know how to do the things listed here due to the detailed advice given here.
