Dear All:

First, Thanks for having a place to post and for helping folks like me.

Recently I reformatted a pc I had problems with and evidently in restoring data, I carried along a bit of malware that was hiding on either a flash drive or a portable hard drive. I noticed I wasn't able to access most common antivirus sites and my CA antivirus wouldnt update with new definitions. I deleted the antivirus software and after some scrounging around, found a downloadable trail version of Kaspersky which after several attempts, I was finally able to run (two times it gave me the no bootable disk found black screen (panic panic).

I think I may have removed the malware, but am just not sure, nor am I sure I have removed it from the pen and the external drives though Kaspersky tells me yes.

My OS in Windows XP Home (Italian version)

Here is my DDS.txt report
