hey guys, i'm not very technically savvy and i've been infected with a virus i cant seem to get rid off. it seems like the ultimate defender virus but is named "antivirus pro 2010" i found the post http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/133694/your-computer-is-infected-message-bubble-displayed-in-system-tray/ and tried to follow it but when I downloaded and started to run the combo fix it told me AVG would interfere and needed to be disabled,

when I tried to uninstall AVG I got an error because of the popup "it is recomended to use special antispyware tools to pervent..." is running, and so I cannot uninstall AVG, it found two components of the virus I've seen listed and removed them but the virus still seems to be in effect, still have the red x and M symbol in the task bar.

side note, i knew not to let it install whatever it was it wanted but when i was trying to uninstall AVG it downloaded the antivirus pro 2010 anyway, all I had done was close the prompts to download and install it.

Thanks for reading, and any help offered
