Good Evening all,

I am coming to you this evening as a last resort. I am using Bitdefender as an antivirus and have thus far not picked up any viruses until I downloaded RemoveIT. RemoveIT picked up four viruses... I forgot their names but the one "sys32.autorun" keeps coming back after repeated deletes. The file sits in the temp folder in E:/Documents and Settings/Darryl/Local Settings/temp. I think this virus may be causing my system to hang. Every third start up works fine but all the other start ups leave my system hanging. I had a similar problem to this last year but it turned out that my harddrive was about to crash.... there may be a possibility that that is happening again. I don't want to take any chances so I'm posting the HJT log to find out whats going on.

All help will be greatly appreciated:

Thanks:

Hey syler,

Thanks for the reply. I didn't sort the issue out myself but a full format and re-install did!! I don't think it was a harddrive problem as my computer started up fine (with the re-install) and is now running smoothly again! I did change my antivirus software though as Bitdefender was giving me too many problems.

Cheers

Sol
