Hello, thanks for any help that you could give me and I'm sorry to bother. Im having an issue with internet explorer. Every time I start my computer I get a message saying that IE didn't close correctly and if I would like to restore my previous session. The thing is that I haven't used IE for ages. Then I find myself with several taks of iexplore.exe in the taskbar even though there are no IE windows running (always between 6 or 8 tasks, but at the beginning when I first found out about the issue, there were about 20 or more). When i'm closing these tasks, sometimes I get a message in the back saying "this tab has been restored", even though, like I said, there are no IE windows open. And lastly, every time I DO open IE, it opens two taks at the taskbar.

Please perform the following scan:

  • Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links. Save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.
  • A small box will open, with an explaination about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.
  • Notepad will open with the results.
  • Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.
  • Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.

Please note: You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run. After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection. Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.
