Your help will be much appreciated! I think this is a relatively new Trojan - at least there are not many returns on a Google search.

Last night my PC became infected. PC now processing slowly and my up-to-date McAfee a/v s/w will not run. I get the error message "Error starting On Demand Scanner". Tried installing Malwarebytes s/w in safe mode, but that was prevented from running. I managed to run ESET online and it removed a.exe, b.exe but still McAfee would not run. I then ran Kaspersky online and that is reporting Trojan-Spy.Win32.Agent.azpj. I have tried also to re-install Ad-Aware and Spy-Bot to no avail, as they either won't start or run for a few seconds and then disappear.

I'm unable to run the DDS tool successfully, nor RootRepeal which ran for a while before disappearing.

I think what I am experiencing is almost identical to Steve6767 posting topic256746.html.

Thanks a zillion in advance for your help.
