Hello, I am here because I have tried and failed at every virus removal technique I know. I have contracted Gen:Trojan.Heur.Hype.cu4@aak5pBh. I don't know what that is, but I do know it shut down fsecure, and prevented it from reinstalling. It as also stopped avg, pctools, kaspersky, and panda is IS from even installing. I managed to get bit defender to install, but it is unable to remove the infected file which is located in \\.\globalroot\Device\__max++\6C3F0F06.x86.dll, which I cannot find and manually delete. I tried finding the process in task manager to shut it down then delete, but I do not have permission. This awesome virus redirects every search I do through google, bing, yahoo, and msn to some advertisement. I have to cut and paste the address into the address bar. On top of that my computer is not running very well. Its not starting up properly, the internet freezes, and I cannot open some websites. Can somebody please tell me a way I can remove this thing, because my next step is clearing the hard drive and staring over. Please be specific with your instructions, because I am not an advanced user. Thank you for any all help.
