I just ran Identity Patrol and got a list of files that it deems are potentially harmful.
Some I knew were OK to delete, as the cookies and the download files.
Some I felt I should keep permanently, as the Spy Sweeper files and the Viewpoint Media Player files.
But there were others that I have no idea, some were HKEY files, which I think are registry files and some were C:/Windows/System32 files and those I don't know:
1. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Module Usage\C:/WINDOWS/System32/OLEPRO32.DLL
2. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\LocallAppWizard-Generated Applications
5. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Current Version\Internet Settings\Zone Map\Dome.ns\aol.com
10. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\America Online
There were only two marked as high risk. One was #1 and the other was the 4 SpySweeper files, which I haven't listed, as I felt they should be kept, but maybe not. They are showing the all as Adware. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
