I just ran Identity Patrol and got a list of files that it deems are potentially harmful.
Some I knew were OK to delete, as the cookies and the download files.
Some I felt I should keep permanently, as the Spy Sweeper files and the Viewpoint Media Player files.
But there were others that I have no idea, some were HKEY files, which I think are registry files and some were C:/Windows/System32 files and those I don't know:
1. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Module Usage\C:/WINDOWS/System32/OLEPRO32.DLL
2. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\LocallAppWizard-Generated Applications
3. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\SCC
4. HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.scc
5. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Current Version\Internet Settings\Zone Map\Dome.ns\aol.com
6. C:\Windows\System32\CatRoot2\tmp.edb
7. C:\Windows\System32\DPCritProc.dll
8. C:\Windows\System32\msmask32.ocx
9. C:\Windows\System32\msvcr80.dll
10. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\America Online
11a. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\TypeLib\{E7BC34AO-BA86-11CF-84B1-CBC2DA68BF6C}
11b. HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{E7BC34AO-BA86-11CF-84B1-CBC2DA68BF6C}
12a. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\NTService.Control.1
12b. HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\NTService.Control.1
13a. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Interface\{E7BC34A2-BA86-11CF84B1-CBC2DA68BF6C}
13b. HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\{E7BC34A2-BA86-11CF84B1-CBC2DA68BF6C}
14a. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Interface\{E7BC34A1-BA86-11CF84B1-CBC2DA68BF6C}
14b. HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\{E7BC34A1-BA86-11CF84B1-CBC2DA68BF6C}
15a. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{E7BC34A3-BA86-11CF-84B1-CBC2DA68BF6C}
15B. HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{E7BC34A3-BA86-11CF-84B1-CBC2DA68BF6C}

There were only two marked as high risk. One was #1 and the other was the 4 SpySweeper files, which I haven't listed, as I felt they should be kept, but maybe not. They are showing the all as Adware. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
