I am really teed off that 64Bit Operating Systems do not support Sandboxie an I have been using that software for awhile now on 32Bit system, I was figuring that they would have made a 64Bit version of it by now????

I don't know how I am going to maneuver without this Sandboxie software being I used to use it to open my browser an small apps an such now being that I have upgraded to a 64Bit O.S.

Does anyone have any alternatives as far as other isolation programs for Windows Xp Pro 64Bit that work as well as Sandboxie???

Even Hipps DefenseWall is not supported for 64Bit, does anyone know of a 64Bit alternative for this program as well???

Thanx in advance happy.

From my investigations the 64 bit architecture in and of itself makes those kinds of applications unreliable. Therefore even Sandboxie says so on their website. http://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?WindowsVista64

Summary: The 32-bit edition of Sandboxie can both provide and guarantee software isolation. A 64-bit edition can provide, but cannot guarantee, the same isolation. For this reason, a 64-bit edition of Sandboxie is not offered at all.

I read that already, I know that sandboxie does not support X64 systems because of a kernel issue.

I was asking if anyone knew of any alternatives to the sanboxie program for 64Bit systems.

I have found a software called DEEP FREEZE it is another isolation software, I this is designed by the creators of DefenseWall ( HIPPS ) so I will mess around with DEEP FREEZE for awhile an see how it is???

But still would like some suggestions for x64 systems

Thanx for your reply :flowers:
