I have bought a new HDD and wish to clone the old one onto the new one.

I have installed and initialised/formatted the new drive

The old drive (system drive) is IDE, the new is a 1TB SATA.

I was advised by the store that sold me the drive to download a trial version of Ghost, but the current version (Ver 14.0x) has the disc cloning facility disabled on the 30-day trial. Oldversion.com has a really old version of Ghost available (Ver 6.03), but will it work on such large discs?

I really don't need a powerful (expensive) utility, this is just a one-of situation.

Win XP Pro SP3

Ideas appreciated.
