Hi there,

I'm here with a friend's problem about her USB headset (a Logitech ClearChat Pro USB). We've been using Skype a lot lately, but her issue is that any time she tells the computer to switch audio output from speakers to mic, or vice versa, it will do it once... but trying to switch back yields no audio from either source. She has to restart to get sound back.

She's running Vista Home Premium, and all we can find for sound card is "Realtek High Definition Audio." Can anyone help?

Thanks

What is the make and model number of the computer?
The next time it quits, before you reboot, open your Device Manager and click on all of the +'s.
Look for yellow exclamation points , question marks or red X's and tell us what they are by

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
