hello hello

i'm new in the hood & want to introduce myself.
i recently had the horrific experience of having a lightening bolt fricase, fry, par boil, saute...
my motherboard.
obviously i'm up and running again and everything was darn near the way it was before afore said catastrophe. with the exception of my music files (all i've found wrong so far)...
long story short, i'm looking in to buying one of those usb hard drive things.
anyone have suggestions on size/brand? i'm counting pennies so go easy.

Welcome to BC!
You should post your question to the hardware forum and include what size you are thinking of buying and what you will be using it for.
Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one should be silent.
