This is a new one for me, Im getting in several computers with this new variant of a Trojan horse proxy.ahiy virus.

I could use some help getting rid of this virus.
I have ran Systernals Autoruns to stop unnessary startup items, and Also ran Hijack this to remove unnessary bho's and toolbars, but this keeps comming
Ive ran CCleaner to clear temp files, cookies, and cache.
Ran mal-ware bytes to check for mal-ware and Spybot to check for the rest of the spyware.

The Sytem is a HP Pavilion DV6
Intel Core 2 Duo 6500 2.10GHz
4GB of ram
windows Vista Home Premium 64bit SP1

what am I misssing???

Sincerly
Jon

is this being reported by AVG?
It is most likely a false positve.

I am no computer wiz, just a common user, but AVG popped this up for me today that I have 2 of these infections. This is my 1st step. Can you tell me how to test if it's a false positive and how I can get it to go away? Everytime I open my internet this pops up. I try to 'remove the unhealed infections' as it says to do, but it locks up my whole computer and I have to hard boot off. Thanks for the help!! Stacey

Hi sblue,Are you using AVG?
double check it before we take action.

Lets' upload this file for a second opinion on what it actually is..

Please make sure that you can view all hidden files. Instructions on how to do this can be found here:
How to see hidden files in Windows

Please click this link-->Jotti

When the jotti page has finished loading, click the Browse button and navigate to the following file and click Submit.
<filepath>suspect.file

Please post back the results of the scan in your next post.

If Jotti is busy, try the same at Virustotal: http://www.virustotal.com/

NOTE:
For submission to a specific anti-virus vendor see Submitting Virus Samples: How to Submit a Virus.
