My friend brought up a new computer with XP Pro SP3, and loaded drivers possibly from untrusted sources.
We can get to every imaginable website except bleepingcomputer.com. I loaded wireshark and we do not see any packets going out (nothing- no dns, whatever) when we try to get to BC.com. Everything else traffic is apparently normal, except possibly saw an intrusion attempt but do not have the traces. All security and firewall settings appear to be ok. We ran combofix and malwarebytes and while some items were found, still cant get to BC.com...
Is this some type of target malware? anyone seen this? Thanks
