When I click on a certain link numerous untitled tabs begin to open at a rate of about 3/second. I am using XP professional and the links that seem to be causing problems are in face book. This happens using firefox or IE. Hundreds of tabs are opened in just a few minutes and the only to stop it is to X out. Some links open with out a problem but some cause the computer to go crazy opening new untitled tabs. I ran malware and CC cleaner with no result. I have also opened the link on another computer with no problem so I think the link is good.

I am not sure what your problem is, but I would suspect an infection of some sort.

Someone here in the administration should get to this post soon and if they feel the same,
will transfer it to the, Am I infected, forum.

But, I would at least start to scan for viruses and other malware a little further than CC Cleaner and malware.

While you are waiting you might try;
