Everytime I use Malwarebytes and HiJackThis it closes a few seconds after the scan and locks the file so I cannot access it. I have to actually reinstall the program to get it to work again, but it just does the same thing over and over. I've tried ActiveScan 2.0 but it seems to only get through part of the way before ending the scan. It has come up with a few virus', but it says I cannot disinfect them because of the permissions!

I have Windows XP Home SP3 and have not found a way to set permissions as the Administrator so they will work correctly.

I ran ComboFix just a bit ago and it told me I had a rootkit. I tried running it again after it told me to reboot, and it says I have "AVG Anti-virus FREE" running as a scanner. I need to remove this before I use ComboFix again.

One more thing - A couple days ago it seemed as though someone hijacked my computer and took over. My msconfig run command opened and started, my browser started, my yahoo mail opened, and it was like someone was opening all of my mail without me touching anything!

Thanks for any help anyone has to give me! I feel I am in serious trouble here.

I also should have noted that I have had the google redirect virus for over a month and cannot get rid of it. I have also tried using RootRepeal, and it will scan everything except FILES. When it starts scanning the files it will close and lock the program.

1. Download Win32kDiag from any of the following locations and save it to your Desktop

http://ad13.geekstogo.com/Win32kDiag.exe

http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/rootr.../Win32kDiag.exe

2. Double-click Win32kDiag.exe to run Win32kDiag and let it finish.
3. When it states "Finished! Press any key to exit...", press any key on your keyboard to close the program.
4. Double-click on the Win32kDiag.txt file that is located on your Desktop and post the entire contents of that log as a reply to this topic.
