initial problem was porn links on desktop with all attempts of web search was rerouted. ability to use a antivirus was disabled and a force download started for another brand of antivirus software. next day as soon as windows opened up,i got some protocol error with a sixty second countdown. finally was able to get combofix ran from a thumbdrive and ran a few passes. combofix stated that most likely viruses still remain and a log report needs to be looked at by someone and you guys were one of the references. so there it is. thanks in advance for any help
