Hi,

For the past few hours, I have been browsing around the site in order to look for a guide to remove Antivirus Pro 2010. I have found several links, including those that recommend Malwarebytes, but it just does not work for me. I make sure that malwarebytes is updated, and run the scan, but it nevertheless stops after a few seconds, and I can't operate it anymore.

The Antivirus Pro 2010 icons in my desktop toolbar are gone, and there is no file concerning the program in my Program Files, but I know that it is still working in the background, seeing as how everytime I access the internet, it directs me to wrong addresses (advertisements).

I have also tried other instructions including deleting certain processes from the Windows Task Manager and other files, but it does not work.

I don't know what else to do; the instructions listed in the Spyware Removal section do not work (They have instructions for AntivirusPro and Antivirus Pro 2009, not Antivirus Pro 2010).

Can anyone help me restore my computer?
