I have posted in another thread about this darn thing not shutting down properly, and my blue-screen madness. Last night it just went to a black screen, and when I punched it (not literally) it gave me a blue screen with this:NAVAP(02) + 0000A7C2 Error: OE: 0028: C02E470E.
Then it did this:
Error: OE 0187 BFF8E64B.
This morning I tried to get on the net, (I have cable modem) and I got this:
NTKERN (01) + 0000C44D Error OE: 0028:C002C55D
Is there anyway to find out what this means? NAVAP is navigator? I have IE. KERN is kernel but other than popcorn, what is is?
Running Windows ME, Gateway bought in 2000, Antivirus and Spysweeper.
thanks, heidi

Navap is for your norton anti virus
OE is out look express
NTKERN is a windows protection error

I would check out the hijack this forum here and run some on line scans

There are several free ones just do a google for on line virus/trojan scans
Computer help forums are full of those that go around the internet

Please run two online virus scans:

http://housecall.antivirus.com/
http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/

Then let us know if its working better and what the scans found.

Good point I'll take it a step further

Google does not extension ie .exe .txt. .bac and so on
Also on error codes forget the numbers at the end google hates those as well
For virus's just the name not the version

If you know it is a windows error code do your search at the windows knowledge base
