I won't get into the details since this isn't the place, but I posted in the "Am I infected?" forum. Since then, my computer trouble has changed/I've noticed new problems, but I seem to have hit the time limit for editing posts (I made the thread on Aug 7th, and I didn't want to be overlooked by bumping my own thread with new information).

I read the sticky advising me to do "one post, one problem." Which I'm fully willing to do, but should I post a new thread and have two active topics floating around in the forum, or should I close my old thread and start again? What's the procedure here?
