I need to know the best place to start on BC. What is the most effective and easiest to do on here that will get me started in cleaning up my PC?

Thanks,

Candace,

That will depend on what it is that you need to accomplish. Are you worried that you have some sort of infection? Or is it that you just want to clean up for performance sake? If you give us a little more detail, in the proper forum board, you will get all the help you need. Depending on what you need, here are a few forums to choose from:

Operating Systems - Depending om which operating system you have (Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7) you can go here for general cleaning.

Am I Infected? - If you think you have a virus or malware.

Tutorials - This one is self explanatory.

Best of luck, and let us know if you need more help.
I would never ask a person to do something that I wouldn't do myself.

And most important, read the pinned topics which are most applicable
to your problem before posting, and have patience, the advisors here
are volunteers and the advice is free but there are so many members
asking for help they can be overstretched.
