tried to download skype keep getting message c:\documents&settings\user\localsettings\temporary internet files\ie5\szukq65m\skype[1].exe. not a valid win 32 application. this comes up after i hit the run button can anybody help cheers

First, try clearing out all of your cookies, history and temp. files
What version of Windows are you using?
Which browser do you use and what version is it?

why won't my laptop work?

Ok, heres where i gotta jump in, (sorry garmanma). Skypes not really the best download, i tried it, itll do nothing but lag. plus rumors going around that theres viruses in those chat rooms of theirs.

cheers anyway guys but no good . ive a 9 mounth old baby and grandad has skype on pc for web cam need to send live stuff of little one his first steps and such any ideas thanks
