I am slowly being driven insane by this error!

I have a dell operating with windows vista, I've had CA for an anti virus for years with no problem........

The problem:

When I attempt to open most of my programs (the one's i've tried are CA Security center, command prompt, system restore, Norton, Dr. Web Mystery Case files, internet explorer, yahoo messenger, windows firewall) Nothing opens I get the message "Debugger Detected [97]) The only thing that I can use is Firefox! That's not even working right, when I click on a link it goes to a random site, I had to register for this site using a different computer as what ever is wrong with my computer messed up my first attempt at registration.

I have only downloaded windows updates.

I can send my computer to the shop but I'd rather it not have to be wiped and all my info deleted!

I sent my computer to the pro's to fix her..... they said it was hopeless, they could not even just wipe it and reinstall windows. It's being sent to "specialists" It's under warenty, I was told they will likely just replace the hard drive. Good luck if you end up with this EVIL bug!
