My laptop cannot detect power from the power adaptor, and the original adaptor model is LiteOn 15V, 5A.
I tired it with the compatible Universal Adaptor 19V, 4.7A but cannot power up!
Now I am worried will this burn the laptop since the power is larger?

Hmm, power supplies are a difficult field, especially for laptops. Id see if you couldn't find another 15V 5A and try that. I dunno, I'm not too sure on this one.
If I am helping you and I do not respond within 24 hours, please send me a PM. :)

Voltage and amps should be exact
You can go over the amps slightly but the voltage must be 15v

The DC powerjack that the power supply plugs into, has a bad habit of breaking the connection on the system board

why won't my laptop work?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
Do not send me PMs with problems that should be posted in the forums. Keep it in the forums, so everyone benefits
