I find that many pages cannot be found or displayed ( coincidentally the pages that lead to programs that I could use to sweep and clean my computer with which is fishy to me ) and that its running a little slow. I also managed to boot my computer and get it to run normally for once using boot with partition but normally when I startup, two processes begin to flood my cpu. also sometimes my internet doesn't work and whenever i try to update spyware progs like spybot and ad-aware, they error, which again is fishy to me like something is blocking it on purpose.

cmd.exe

and

services.exe

they each appear anywhere from 10-150 times each at anything from 1000k to 3000k a piece. I can only end process on cmd.exe but services.exe tells me its a vital system process. these shoot my cpu usage up to near 100% or on 100% and really drag my comp down. it all started when i went to a torrent site, didn't even click on anything, and closed it. i dunno how i got infected but i guess i am.

here's the dds.txt log and the two other logs are attached:

Hello and welcome to Bleeping Computer

We apologize for the delay in responding to your request for help. Here at Bleeping Computer we get overwhelmed at times, and we are trying our best to keep up. Please note that your topic was not intentionally overlooked. Our mission is to help everyone in need, but sometimes it takes just a little longer to get to every request for help. No one is ignored here.

If you have since resolved the original problem you were having, we would appreciate you letting us know. If not please perform the following steps below so we can have a look at the current condition of your machine.

If you have not done so, include a clear description of the problems you're having, along with any steps you may have performed so far.

Upon completing the steps below another staff member will review and take the steps necessary with you to get your machine back in working order clean and free of malware.

If you have already posted a DDS log, please do so again, as your situation may have changed.
Use the 'Add Reply' and add the new log to this thread.

Thanks and again sorry for the delay.

We need to see some information about what is happening in your machine. Please perform the following scan:
  • Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links. Save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.
  • A small box will open, with an explaination about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.
  • Notepad will open with the results.
  • Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.
  • Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.
Please note: You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run. After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection. Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.

Hi,

It's strongly recommended to uninstall p2p file sharing programs like Azureus Vuze and Limewire. P2P downloads are one of the biggest sources of infections nowadays.

Please visit this webpage for download links, and instructions for running ComboFix tool:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix

Please ensure you read this guide carefully and install the Recovery Console first.

The Windows Recovery Console will allow you to boot up into a special recovery (repair) mode. This allows us to more easily help you should your computer have a problem after an attempted removal of malware. It is a simple procedure that will only take a few moments of your time.

Once installed, you should see a blue screen prompt that says:

The Recovery Console was successfully installed.

Please continue as follows:
  • Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix, link
    Remember to re-enable them afterwards.

  • Click Yes to allow ComboFix to continue scanning for malware.
When the tool is finished, it will produce a report for you.

Please include the following reports for further review, and so we may continue cleansing the system:

C:\ComboFix.txt
New dds.txt log.

A word of warning: Neither I nor sUBs are responsible for any damage you may have caused your machine by running ComboFix. This tool is not a toy and not for everyday use.

I tried running combofix and i double clicked it and then....nothing. I'm thinking it may be something blocking it but....other than that i'm not sure because my spybot does the same thing..........maybe i'm just out of luck haha

Hi,

Rename ComboFix.exe file -> FoolMalware.exe and try running it again.

Still nothing. I'm going to try restarting and then opening it again, but I have doubts.

Hi,

Let's ensure that you do renaming correctly.

A word of warning: Neither I nor sUBs are responsible for any damage you may have caused your machine by running ComboFix. This tool is not a toy and not for everyday use.

Download Combofixáfrom any of the links below. You mustárename it before saving it (use FoolMalware.exe as name though screenshot says otherwise). Save it to your desktop.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Double click on FoolMalware.exeá& follow the prompts.
  • When finished, it will produce a report for you.
  • Please post the C:\ComboFix.txt (and fresh dds.txt log).
Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall

Okay actually I restarted and combofix ran but I only saw it go through stage 49...which seemed really fishy to me. It produced a report though so here it is along with an updated dds log.

Okay, done, here is both fresh

EDIT: I also have another quick question, I tried to disable my norton antivirus but it always seemed to still be running in the background. I even tried to end the process but it still told me it was on. I even tried to uninstall Norton but it somehow is still running, I don't even understand. Frankly, I don't really even want it on my comp 'cause its out of date and I feel like its messed up, can you also help me to try to just completely remove it?
