Hi,

My PC has been stuttering every so often sometimes on its own and sometimes when I open a new application or something like that. The stutter may last anywhere from a few seconds or up to a minute.

This is happening on a new (two week old) Vista Ultimate instillation on the same partition that did the same stutter on the old instillation.

I have two other Vista instillations on different partitions that do not have this problem.

Does anyone know what this might be and how to fix it? Thanks.

John

Hay,

My PC is still stuttering.

After searching on Google I haven't found anything that would correct this yet. I've tried one forum's response to this concern with no change, my PC is still stuttering.

So, if anyone has any experience with this concern I really would appreciate any advice on this issue. Thanks.

Maybe it would be helpful if you were a little more precise
Do you mean the audio is stuttering or your video?

The audio stutters and the video freezes, (the mouse and video freeze while the audio stutters).

It lasts anywhere from a second to about 45 seconds, usually somewhere in between.
