I've found myself coming here for ComboFix too many times, so I finally broke down an registered. Malware's getting nastier all the time. Just the other day, I had a machine with a rootkit and only ComboFix could take it out. Thanks for a great resource!

Hi
Combofix has brought me to this site too, although as a computer dullard all the techno-speak is beginning to scare me! Is combofix easy to use, or is it likely to wipe my computer completely if I press the wrong key at the wrong time?!
Reasurance is sought, please!
Kate.

Combofix, like any powerful tool, can be very dangerous if mishandled. As such it is recommended that you only use it under the direction of a trained anti-malware person.
