I get bombarded at least once a week by these Fake AntiVirus programs..
You know.. the ones that take over your computer and no matter what
you do you cant get them off your screen

I normally recognize them in task manager and stop the process
Then I routinely run Malware Bytes .. and then CCleaner

Usually this will take care of the problem... but not this time

Since this last attack, my browser runs extremely slow and I cannot
do browser functions very well on this computer .. I have to use a diff computer
or it takes me forever to "browse" and most of the time the browser wont even
complete loading a page.

I download most of the time from this "infected" computer.. so I am
constantly being attacked.

this is a Dell XP410 - dual core - lots of ram .. lots of speed normally
Windows XP
I use Firefox as my browser..
I have Kaspersky installed for firewall and virus..

First I would like to know if there is a Virus/Malware program that can
block these attackers in the first place.. Kaspersky does not seem to be
able to ..

Second I need help restoring the speed back to this computers browser.
Something is wrong somewhere

When I boot up .. there is an error message with svc host

Applications work ok..
The problem seems to be with the browser ability on this computer.
