I was infected with the Antivirus 2010 software. I wasn't sure how to go about removing it so i deleted some of the stuff in the Antivirus folder (Don't know if i should have done that). All i know is i no longer have the annoying pop up boxes or advertisements that usually come with AV2010 but when i try to open ANY program on my computer except this browser a black box flashes and the program wont open. This black box looks like a command prompt box. I downloaded the MBAM setup thing, but obviously i can't open that program. I also can't boot in safe mode.
Any suggestions?
Please help !

Rename the Malwarebytes setup file to iexplore.exe and then double-click it to see if it will install.

Thank You Budapest. I figured out that if i right-clicked a program and clicked on "run as" i could select a user and open the program normally. I ran the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and everything seems to be running smoothly. Could i ask though, how do i get programs like this because this is the third time i had to use Malwarebytes to remove programs similar to this.

Much Thanks.

It's difficult to say how you got infected, but here's some good reading material:
