I was given a HP laptop was about a year and half now old now.

Girl tripped in the snow and monitor got messed up, I looked at it at the the time and I was going to fix it but she gave it to her brother to fix.

He took it fully apart and when he put it back together it wouldn't even start up anymore.

I'm know tech genius but I took a look at it and some pictures online and it seems to be only missing one wire which I can't find anywhere.

So Ideas what can I do with a broken laptop that doesn't work?
(it did previous to him loosing that wire)

Any ideas what I should use it for?
I don't wanna do a picture frame and it seems like things i am interested in require a working laptop...

Well.. you could donate it to a local center, i have one near me that takes in "homeless computer's" and fixes them and then, makes sure they find a new home with somebody that really needs one and just doesn't have the cash to get one themselves.....check your local phone book....

Do something fun with it. Think of all the times it's pissed you off. Personally, I want to smash mine in with a hammer.

Hmmm...rig it and mail it to Mr Gates?

Ohhh...I did not mean a bomb...

But how about some nice nasties....

That always seem to get into my system...

Then perhaps, Mr Gates would not have sooo many loopholes in Windows?

And if we are stuck with this system, it might be a tad bit more secure?

Only a thought...
