I was doing a clearout of old software on my pc and by mistake I deleted a PIECE OF SOFTWARE CALLED REALTEK. I also cleared out my recycle in on that day

when I turned on my laptop today I get absolutly no sound at all, and the control panel thingie detects no audio driver :S

I know what I did was stupid, but now I can't seem to redownload an audio driver from realtek themselves, so I found a website called softwarepatch which offers the same software, I was just wondering should I download from this site (it all looks pretty virus-free according to reviews) and if so which kind of driver would be best to download?

sorry If this is posted in completly the wrong forum but I am a pretty clueless person

Thanks so much if you can help

Hello please post your operating system and Graphics card info as it seems you may need a new driver.

confusedwithvaio,

Please do not post about the same issue in multiple forums. It's confusing to everyone, including you, when we try to help you.
