Here is the issue, any time I try to install HP printer software on a machine that does not have the boot volume set as the C:\ drive it fails. I have not been able to find a work around for this. I was just wondering if there was a way around this issue someone may know.

I have seen this issue several times. The first time I had to reinstall Windows XP. The second time the subst command allowed the install to briefly install before failing and having to uninstall itself.

Can anyone help?
