Yesterday when i did I search on Google the search results came up ok but then when I clicked on the link I wanted my search was diverted to another site. For example I did a search on Roses and when i clicked on the result for Wikipedia a page came up with the word "Loading Please Wait" and then I was sent to Screwfix.com so i could buy a Shower Head rose.
I have tried several Malware and spyware programs but none seem to find anything, I have even downloaded the fully paid version of AVG and still nothing.
Now I cant even get a search to run on Google. I have tried switching to a firefox instead of IE but does not make any difference.
a friend on another forum ( not a computer forum) sent me a link for Bing search engine and when using that it works fine so my problem seems to just be with the google search engine.

Hoping someone can help
