Was on the computer and then a window popped up scanning and saying I was infected. THen scanned and showed 300+ infections, worms, trojans, etc... During the scan the Personal Antivirus became loaded on my computer and desktop. I googled it and found out that it was not really an anti spyware but the opposite. At this point I DID NOT run the removal button. However, I now have the icon and continues pop ups telling me I have a trojan and a malicious worm. I would like to remove this completely and cannot afford to buy a service such as spydoctor to do so. Even if I were to find the extra money and purchase how would I be sure it would work and I were not purchasing something for naught?

We need to see some information about what is happening in your machine. Please perform the following scan:
  • Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links. Save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.
  • A small box will open, with an explaination about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.
  • Notepad will open with the results.
  • Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.
  • Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.

Please note: You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run. After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection. Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.
