I recently purchased a new laptop (Fujitsu_siemens) as my other one is 4 yrs old and I felt I needed an upgrade.
I am not very computer literate, but have taught myself to manage & solve most problems, or so I thought! My old system ran on XP Pro & hardly ever gave me a problem. Now I have a beautiful new machine, with all the bells & whistles, that won't,
try as I might, let me into my yahoo mail, facebook, or any other site that needs me to sign into. I have spent quite a few hours reading your solutions, tried them, including deleting norton & installing avast, which I had on my old laptop. Whether I go into IE or Mozilla, makes no difference, in fact, Mozilla works even slower on this system, where previously it was very fast. I am becoming very disillusioned by this whole thing. Would it be possible to install my XP programme to run on my new laptop as I can't seem to get the hang of Vista. Seems like I spend all my time online trying to find a way to get into sites I used to access in a blink. Please help?
