my internet was very slow too and i thought i should check if i have any ports open and i performed a online port scan
and the following results came up on the screen:

Scanning ports on 79.70.12.243

79.70.12.243 isn't responding on port 21 (ftp).
79.70.12.243 isn't responding on port 23 (telnet).
79.70.12.243 isn't responding on port 25 (smtp).
79.70.12.243 isn't responding on port 80 (http).
79.70.12.243 isn't responding on port 110 (pop3).
79.70.12.243 isn't responding on port 139 (netbios-ssn).
79.70.12.243 isn't responding on port 445 (microsoft-ds).
79.70.12.243 isn't responding on port 1433 (ms-sql-s).
79.70.12.243 isn't responding on port 1521 (ncube-lm).
79.70.12.243 isn't responding on port 1723 (pptp).
79.70.12.243 isn't responding on port 3306 (mysql).
79.70.12.243 isn't responding on port 3389 (ms-wbt-server).
79.70.12.243 isn't responding on port 5900 ().
79.70.12.243 isn't responding on port 8080 (webcache).


can someone please tell me what this means
