Hi Anyone,

Anyone know of a way to burn a larger than 2GB ISO file?

If not is there a way to make a UDF file bootable?

Searches don't seem to bring much up on this.

Thanks,
John

Not sure what you are getting at John.
A normal DVD5 single layer disk will hold 4.3 - 4.7 GB and should burn OK with IMGBURN.
Cheers

Thanks rowal5555,

IMGBURN worked great for burning my 4GB ISO to a DVD.

You would think that NERO would do it no problem but NERO wouldn't go near it and I wasn't sure what was trustworthy through searches.

So, I came here to get someone's advice from bleeping and as usual someone on bleeping came through.

I am working from the IMGBURN instillation right now and everything seems to be working great.

So, thanks again for the advice to use IMGBURN. It's a great free product.

John

Glad to hear it worked for you, John.

IMGBURN is the only program I would bother with for working on building and writing an ISO file. Once you have used it a couple of times it is dead easy and, if you fail to enter a detail, it will do it for you (together with a funny comment LOL)

Cheers

I don't know how I feel about my software telling me "don't do that again!"

On the other hand... maybe that should become standard practice!

@AA. Ah well. I know I'm an idiot, LOL, so if a program wants do do it right for me, I am happy with that.

I'll have to agree with that.
