Hey, I'm new here, but from what I've been reading this forum seems like it can be a big help to me.

My problem, has something to do with my cookies, but I'm not sure what. So far I've run AVG, Malwarebytes, Spybot, Spywareblaster, Panda, and they all point me to threats in the cookies. I've tried manually deleting these files as well as using, the able programs to delete them, i.e. Spybot, Spywareblaster.

This issue started occuring initially with firefox, I was getting a repeating and incessant "close firefox" message. The message told me that firefox was already in use or was unresponsive and I needed to close it or restart my system. The issue persisted even after I deleted firefox and reinstalled it.

I moved to internet explorer and sometimes when I go to certain websites, e.g. other forums I frequent, (that aren't reported attack sites!) I get internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. I click okay, then I get a prompt saying that the tab has been recovered. From this point I have to end Internet Explorer from the task manager to do anything.

Please help, I will greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

here is my DDS log:

  • Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links. Save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.
  • A small box will open, with an explaination about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.
  • Notepad will open with the results.
  • Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.
  • Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.
Please note: You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run. After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection. Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.
