I'm having a bit of a problem here. Everytime I restart my computer windows doesn't detect my user profile or something, and says it must create a temporary profile. So I lose my settings everytime..which is becoming a bit of a hassle

I've checked user accounts and stuff..but it won't let me change anything..it says it is a local account...but it comes up as temp. i logged in as administrator and tried to change it..and it still didnt work

any ideas would be of great help..thanks

Dear jpc,

We need more information to help you.

At this point it could be anything.

How long have you had the computer?

Have you loaded anything new right before your failure?

Do you have a firewall and did you ever drop it?

This could be as simple as reloading Windows using your CD.

Let us know,

junkdk
