Vimax ads and browser redirect

It looks like I have a virus that many of the other posters have had on here. Everytime I try to browse through google or yahoo it redirects me to another site. I am also seeing Vimax ads all over the pages. I ran malwarebytes and it did remove 41 objects but I still have the same problem. I'm guessing its a DNS trojan? I dont want to run anymore software before speaking to an expert. Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated
