As we all know when copying, transfering or deleting files and/or folders there is always a handy, common and simple highlighting function; in which, you just left-click hold and drag until all files and folders are highlighted and you can delete X number of files.

But I bought a new internal harddrive western digital caviar GP and when I add files into the internal harddrive all items appear in blue (meaning the name is in blue) and it won't let me highlight so I have to delete files one by one same when I move to a folder I have to move them one by one.

How can I fix this so I can move 20 files at the same time and not move them one by one.

If I left-click and try to drag more files, it does not work.

I generally highlight the first file and then hold down the Shift while using the Arrow (Up or Down) to continue to select more files.

THEN, I can drag them all by holding down the Left Mouse Button and dragging to where I want to put them.

And you say the other 2 drives do work? I would like to hear a little more detail about the process, if you don't mind. And just to verify, try again to highlight and move files, like you described, on your other 2 drives.
