Hey I'm new here. I've read all of the guides and past posts about removing windows antivirus pro, but I'm stuck. When I try to open any anti-virus/malware program, it gives me the error "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the file"

p.s. Safe mode gives me the BSOD

Thanks,

Roy,

You will need to post any infection related issues in the Am I Infected? forum to get proper help.

I would never ask a person to do something that I wouldn't do myself.

Hi Roy 151, and welcome to BleepingComputer.

I would suggest posting a topic in the Am I infected forum.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
